Frequently asked questions

Who can drive the Motorhome?

Anyone with a car licence classed as Category B aged between 25 to 75.



Can I still hire the Motorhome with points on my driving licence?

Yes provided you have a maximum of 6 points & no more than 3 for any offence.



Do you provide the kitchen equipment?

Yes we provide almost everything you'll need during your adventure away in our Motorhome.



Do you provide gas for the cooking & heating?

Yes & we've just installed the amazing FLOGAS System which can be filled up at the relevant fuel stations throughout the country. Filled up at the start of your hire & all we ask is that you return it full. No fiddly heavy gas bottles to change over, just plug in & fill making it easy.



Will we be shown how everything works on the Motorhome?

Yes we'll give you a walkaround tour of the Motorhome demonstrating how everything works. We also include a folder in the Motorhome to assist & we're available to talk you through anything should you require assistance whilst away on your adventure.



Do you provide Breakdown Cover?

Yes it's provided by the RAC.



What are the times for pick up & drop off?

Pick up times are between 3.00pm to 6.00pm. Drop off times are between 8.00am to 11.00am. We can also cater for times outwith these times subject to prior arrangement.



Are we limited to the miles we travel?

We provide free unlimited mileage in your hire.



Can we take the Motorhome abroad?

Yes travel abroad via UK ferry terminals or channel tunnel crossing is allowed.



How much is your security bond?

We take £1000 for the security bond & provide a full refund within 7 days of your return provided the Motorhome is returned in an acceptable condition.



Are you Pet Friendly?

YES, River View Motorhomes cater for 2 small dogs or 1 medium sized dog.
